Twice, an online clothing exchange by ex-Googlers, Noah Ready Campbell and Calvin Young, is an intermediary, rather than a peer-to-peer service. It sends women shipping labels to send in their boxes of quality used clothing, takes nice photos of the items and posts them online, and then sells them for about three times the price (which is the industry standard), with free returns.
How it works?
Twice is like a brick & mortar clothing resale store, but online.
Sellers send in their clothing (we pay shipping), and Twice make an offer for their items. Twice pay for everything upfront, so you get your cash right away!
Buyers purchase items from Twice store, where most of items are available for 70-90% off retail. Free shipping is offered on orders over $49 ($5 otherwise) and free 30-day returns.
